E.E. Smith High School, affectionately known as Smith, left me with cherished memories of classmates, friends, and teachers that remain etched in my mind. From participating in various clubs, playing in intramural games to attending dances, proms, and sporting events, life-long friendships were formed. We've a part of a rich history, being among the first to integrate and witness the signing of the Civil Rights Act. The alumni, including the Class of 1971, have striven to make a positive impact in education, to play for and coach college and professional sports teams, to become teachers, doctors, nurses, attorneys, ministers, actors, famous singers, a U.S. Army Surgeon General, and valuable public service personnel. It's an honor for me to be a product of E.E. Smith High School, Home of the Golden Bulls.
